This fundraiser is also for the renovation of the Community Hall sponsored by the Welcome to the Prairie, 3 C’s, and Intergenerational Action Teams. All proceeds will benefit the project.

AARP & BSU to Contribute Time and Talent in Assessment

AARP Idaho Boise State University are contributing expertise to the
Prairie Horizon Long Term Care Project.

It is confirmed that the BSU students will design and AARP will
administer a Long Term Care needs assessment for Cottonwood. The survey
will be approved by BSU. This will begin in September and AARP will
work with Prairie Horizons on the details.

Local Drug Store — Arnzen’s Drug Assists Welcome Team

Arnzen Drug Helps Pairie Horizons welcome newcomers to the prairie.
Barbara Jones, our Welcoming Committee chairwoman, left a message with
Sister Chanelle Schuler that she purchased $100 in gift certificates for
the Welcoming Committee from Arnzen Drug and that Mr. Rod Arnzen has
generously donated matching funds for a total of $200 in gift
certificates from his drug store for Barbara’s Committee.

Thank you, Arnzen Drug, for showing such community spirit and support
to newcomers.

WE’VE CREATED THE VISION

On October 16th, many people from the “Quad Cities,” (includes Keuterville, Cottonwood, Greencreek, and Ferdinand attended the visioning rally at Priarie Elementary and published our vision statement. We are deeply committed to making positive changes and have “Planted the Seeds of our Future!”
